Two neighborhood councils meet from February 14 to 18

Two neighborhood councils are meeting next week.

Ward Council 7 meets at 7 p.m. on February 14 in the Gibson Room at the Civic Center.

Items on the agenda include committee reports, HOME-ARP funding letter, Great Falls Public Library’s ongoing StoryWalk proposal, community services for the homeless presented by United Way, and concerns neighborhood.

Ward Council 8 meets at 6 p.m. Feb. 17 in the Women’s Annex of the Great Falls Transition Center, 1019 15th St. N.

Items on the agenda include updating the council’s Facebook page, District Court Judge David Grubich, bylaw review and neighborhood concerns.

In Great Falls, there are nine neighborhood councils. Their purpose is to serve citizens by providing a direct link to the city government in the neighborhoods. Each council is made up of five members elected by voters in its constituency. Website| Facebook
