Two neighborhood councils meet from March 14 to 18

Two neighborhood councils are meeting next week.

Ward Council 7 meets at 7 p.m. on March 14 in the Gibson Room at the Civic Center.

Agenda items include committee reports, NeighborWorks community cleanup, District Court Judge David Grubich, Cascade County Sheriff’s nominee Jay Groskreutz and neighborhood concerns.

Ward Council 8 meets at 6 p.m. March 17 in the Women’s Annex of the Great Falls Transition Center, 1019 15th St. N.

Agenda items include updating the council’s Facebook page, HD 26 candidate Marci Marceau, NeighborWorks community cleanup and neighborhood concerns.

In Great Falls, there are nine neighborhood councils. Their purpose is to serve citizens by providing a direct link to the city government in the neighborhoods. Each council is made up of five members elected by the voters of its constituency. Website| Facebook
