Upcoming CU Boulder Community Events
BOULDER, CO – As thousands of students move to the University of Colorado Boulder campus throughout August, planning for some community-friendly events is underway.
âParticipation is open to the public,â a university official said in a press release. “CU Boulder membership is not required.”
List of upcoming community events:
- CU in the neighborhood barbecue
- Martin Acres neighborhood: Martin Park, Thursday, September 9, 5 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
- Goss Grove neighborhood: 19th & Grove Park, Friday, September 10, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
- University Hill neighborhood: Beach Park, Saturday September 11; 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
- East Aurora neighborhood: Arrowwood Park, Sunday September 12; 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
- CU Buffaloes vs. Northern Colorado Bear
- September 3, 7 p.m., Folsom Field
- Full stadium capacity
- The stampede of the pearl street
- 7 p.m. the day before home football matches
- Thursday September 2
- Friday September 17th
- Friday October 1
- Friday October 15 – Family weekend
- Friday November 5 – Reunion
- Friday November 19
- Starts at the 1300 block of Pearl Street (in front of the County Courthouse). The Stampede moves west, stopping every block in the Pearl Street Mall to perform.

More than 8,000 undergraduates are attending in-person orientation sessions through Aug. 29, university officials said.
