Virtual and community events celebrate despite canceled festivities
ATLANTA – Atlanta Pride has canceled all in-person festivities for the second year in a row in response to a late summer increase in Delta COVID-19 variant cases, but there are still a handful of virtual and corporate events with plans to celebrate LGBTQ pride.
The three festival marches and the festival parade are complete, but it is still possible to listen to panels on health care and self-representation, support local artists online, listen to music at the Georgia Beer Garden and story time for a legendary drag queen.
